I started painting at the age of 9 or 10 in my home town of Nipawin Saskatchewan, this was the result of the long cold Saskatchewan winters and an old box of oil paints my mother had left lying around. I stopped painting in 1967 with a move to British Columbia, and involvement in other interests.

In 2005 I once again picked up my brushes and started painting again. I’m self taught having taken only a few classes with several local artists. My paintings have been seen in several galleries and local art show in the White Rock Surrey area and one man shows at the Community Arts Council Gallery.
